Fourteen people have been shot and wounded in an attack on a crowd outside a house party in Southern California.
Kern County Police said about 150 people were attending the party in Bakersfield when a car drove past shortly before 1am.
Shots rang out and people standing in the street and in front of the home were hit.
Victims sustained wounds to the arms, legs and chest. Two were critically injured, but are expected to survive.
No arrests have been made and there is no immediate word on a motive for the attack.
Bakersfield is about 90 miles north of Los Angeles.
