Macaulay Culkin has pleaded guilty to possessing medication without a prescription and marijuana.

Macaulay Culkin has pleaded guilty to possessing medication without a prescription and marijuana.

The 24-year-old star was given one-year deferred jail sentences for each charge and ordered to pay $540 (€441.80) in fees in court in Oklahoma.

He was arrested last September after police found more than half an ounce of marijuana and Xanax, a drug used to treat depression and panic disorders.

The actor, who was present at the Oklahoma County Courthouse, completed a drug and alcohol evaluation as part of his probation.
