Paris St Germain coach Luis Fernandez has indicated Nicolas Anelka's loan move to Liverpool is likely to become permanent in the summer.

Anelka is keen to complete the move after finding himself frozen out at PSG.

Assistant manager Phil Thompson has already hinted he would like the striker to stay at Anfield.

"Anelka is enjoying himself in Liverpool," said Fernandez in L'Equipe.

"The English managers seem interested in a permanent transfer."
