Canty and Goold train with Cork

Cork captain Graham Canty and his team-mate Fintan Goold returned to training tonight, as the Rebels continued their preparations for Sunday's All-Ireland SFC final against Down.

Canty took a full part in the Páirc Uí Chaoimh session, training for the first time since Cork's semi-final win over Dublin.

The lynchpin defender has been an injury concern since suffered a hamstring tear during the quarter-final victory over Roscommon.

Goold is also expected to be fully fit for Sunday's showdown, despite suffering an ankle injury in training earlier this month.

The Macroom forward has not been a regular starter for the Rebels this year, but has featured regularly as a substitute and was introduced in the latter stages of last month's defeat of the Dubs.

Cork manager Conor Counihan is set to name his starting line-up for the final, following a final training session at Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Thursday night.
