Mourners stunned as man 'comes back from the dead'

A man appeared to come back from the dead at his own funeral recently.

Mourners "jumped out of their skin" when they went to pay their respects to Brighton Dama Zanthe and noticed him wriggling in his coffin.

Lot Gaka said: "I noticed Zanthe’s legs moving as I was in the queue to view his body.

"At first I could not believe my eyes… They [the mourners] all jumped in disbelief."

Brighton - who was thought to have died aged 34 at his home in Zimbabwe following a long-term illness – was taken to Gweru Provincial Hospital following the shocking incident where he was put on life support for two days before being allowed home a week later.

"I feel OK now," he said.

"I don’t know what happened and I only remember being on life support. I was given another chance."
