Indy Car Driver Sébastien Bourdais - who Irish people might remember better from his time with Formula1 team Torro Rosso in 2008 -2009 - had a bad end to a great race when he dropped his glass trophy at the podium presentation over the weekend.
Watch for the moment it bounces, and he thinks it'll survive.
He was a good sport about it, to be fair, and had a great sense of humour afterwards. It was a big win for him, and one he shared with his family on the track.
Amazing what glue can do.... Looks like new! :-) pic.twitter.com/dkNuSvpbuf

Great shot of @BourdaisOnTrack embracing his fam after @DragonRacing's best finish, w/ team owner Jay Penske joining. pic.twitter.com/0m2X6reNVu

Bless.
But here's another question: did it never occur to the trophy maker that it should be stuck on. You know, because they
raise the trophy over their head?
