Court hears how Murray broke news of Jackson
The trial of Michael Jackson’s doctor has heard him describe how he told Jackson’s family about the superstar’s death.
Prosecutors continued playing Dr Conrad Murray’s taped interview with police on the trial’s 10th day.
Murray calmly told detectives on June 27, 2009, about how he told Jackson’s mother and held her hand while she cried.
He also described Jackson’s daughter’s fears about being left an orphan.
Murray has pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter. He is accused of giving Jackson a lethal dose of the anaesthetic propofol and sedatives.
Murray’s lawyers claim the singer gave himself the fatal dose.
