British supermarket chain Asda has recalled children’s Halloween wigs because of fears they may not be flame-proof.
The supermarket warned customers that the black shoulder-length wig, which costs £2.97, should be returned.
An Asda spokesman said the wigs are packaged in a clear plastic box with a picture of a girl wearing a wig and witch’s hat on the front. The number 2720 0780 is printed underneath the bar code.
The wigs, which have been on sale since September 1, were being recalled because of fears they may not be fully flame-retardant.
A full refund is being offered.
