Shels look to edge closer to Cork

Shelbourne will be hoping to continue their recent return to winning ways when they face Longford Town at Tolka Park.

Shelbourne will be hoping to continue their recent return to winning ways when they face Longford Town at Tolka Park.

The Reds will once again be without the injured Alan Moore and Jamie Harris. Manager Pat Fenlon is expected to field the same side that beat Waterford United 4-2 on Friday.

Longford are also expected to be unchanged following Friday’s 0-0 draw with Cork City although captain Barry Ferguson is available again after suspension.

A win would put Shelbourne just three points behind leaders Cork City.
