Dubs skipper Moran back in training

Dublin's captain for 2006, Colin Moran, is back in full training with the county panel.

The versatile Ballyboden St Enda's clubman has sat out the entire season so far, having had surgery on a troublesome groin injury before Christmas.

Moran admitted his recovery was "slower than expected" as he had hoped to make his return during the National League. His last competitive game of football was in Leinster's Interprovincial Championship final defeat of Ulster last November.

While his match fitness is undoubtedly low, Moran's return is still seen as a significant boost to the Dublin camp ahead of their Leinster SFC opener against Longford on June 4.
