St Mirren match called off

St Mirren’s Bank of Scotland Premier League match against Motherwell has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at Love Street.

St Mirren’s Bank of Scotland Premier League match against Motherwell has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at Love Street.

The match, scheduled for this afternoon, failed a pitch inspection at 10am.

Although much of the pitch was playable, the ball would not bounce in one badly affected area.

With rain forecast for the afternoon it was decided to call the match off. No date has yet been set for the rearranged fixture.
