Kane receives additional 24 weeks
The GAA's Central Hearings Committee imposed a penalty of 24 weeks additional suspension arising from DJ Kane’s illegal participation, while under suspension, during the GAA Ulster Senior Football Championship – Down v Tyrone played at Newry on June 8.
Kane had his case heard by the Central Hearings Committee last night.
He may yet appeal to the Central Appeals Committee and if that fails, the Disputes Resolution Authority.
