Leslie and Titmuss split - spokesman
Former TV presenter John Leslie and ex-nurse Abi Titmuss have officially confirmed that their five-year relationship is over.
A spokesman for the couple said they separated before Christmas “due to the stresses and strains of recent months”.
“To end months of speculation about their on/off relationship, John Leslie and Abi Titmuss have publicly decided to call time on their relationship,” the spokesman said.
The pair remained “good friends” and continued to see each other socially, he added.
Titmuss stood by Leslie throughout his ordeal last year which began when TV presenter Matthew Wright named him in connection with Ulrika Jonsson’s rape allegation.
Leslie was sacked from his job on This Morning after a series of women made allegations about his sexual behaviour, and he was pictured in a newspaper snorting cocaine.
He was cleared last July of indecent assault and left court “without a stain on his character”.
In January, Titmuss was axed from her role as a roving reporter on the Richard and Judy show following allegations that she was involved in group sex sessions at Leslie’s home.
