Actor Donald Sutherland has revealed his Emmy award-winning son, Kiefer, couldn’t even get cast as the son of his real-life dad when he auditioned for his first movie.
The 24 star’s dad was already an accomplished Hollywood actor when he brought Kiefer along to the set of Max Dugan Returns in 1983 to ask director Herb Ross about a role for Kiefer.
“He took him into his trailer and kept him there for like an hour and a half, and he came out and pontificated and said: ‘No, this boy is not an actor,’” Donald told Darkhorizons.com.
