Having moved into fifth in the showroom class in the Condroz Rally, Roy White/Michael Patterson slipped a few places to end the day seventh in the category and 19th overall.
White needs to finish fourth in the category to claim the Belgian national title. His only rival, David Sterckx (Mitsubishi), who holds a two point lead, went out earlier.
White lost more than 90 seconds on the last stage yesterday, as he seems to have difficulty in finding his usual form.
The service crew of his FESP backed Mitsubishi changed the springs at the overnight service halt and they are hoping that this will improve his performance on today's final leg of 12 stages.
Seamus Heron (Mitsubishi), Pat Price (Mitsubishi) and Aaron McHale (Honda) also completed yesterday's 10 stages.
In the Toshiba Rally in Dungannon, Derek McGarrity, co-driven by Derek O'Gorman took a narrow four-second win over Eugene Donnelly/Paul Nagle (Toyota Celica). McGarrity encountered problems on all of the 10 stages.
His Subaru WRC caught fire on S.S. 1 and the service crew had to replace the wiring loom. He also suffered a blown turbo.
Trevor Moore (Escort Cosworth) was third, just edging out the Subaru WRC of Wexford's, Eamonn Boland/Anthony Nestor.
