An eight-year-old Australian girl has died after she and 10 other children were hurled from a bouncy castle when fierce winds flipped it over.
The girl received serious head injuries when a gust of wind lifted the giraffe-shaped inflatable attraction 10 metres off the ground.
A police spokeswoman said the girl's death would be the subject of a coroner's inquiry. One adult was also hurt in the accident at a horse race on Sunday at Kapaunda, 40 miles north of Adelaide.
It was the second accident involving an inflatable play area in Australia in the last 12 months. In July, five children were injured when a castle collapsed in Perth.
