Wolves defender Sebastien Bassong is hoping to be fit to face former club Newcastle on February 25 after a scan on his hamstring injury revealed no serious damage.
Bassong, who is on loan from Tottenham for the remainder of the season, had to be substituted during the 5-1 home defeat against West Brom on Sunday due to the problem.
But the scan has allayed any fears about Bassong facing a lengthy lay-off.
He said on Twitter: “Scan done, just got the result, nothing big. If everything is going well, should be back for Newcastle.”
