Vodafone ends deal with Becks
England captain David Beckham has been substituted after three years as the face of Vodafone, it was confirmed today.
The mobile phone giant said the footballer’s contract had ended by “mutual consent”.
Vodafone said the deal – believed to have been worth about €1.4m a year – had run out at the start of July and had not been renewed.
