Electric Picnic organisers issue MyHab warning

Electric Picnic festival-goers who booked a MyHab living space have been urged to contact the UK company following rumours that it is to fold.

Electric Picnic festival-goers who booked a MyHab living space have been urged to contact the UK company following rumours that it is to fold.

"Following reports from Glastonbury as well as E-Festivals.co.uk it appears that MyHab have gone into insolvency," said a statement from the organisers of Electric Picnic today.

"We at Electric Picnic because of this uncertainty urge people who have been considering to book a Myhab not to do so. For those who have already booked and paid for accommodation, claims for refunds or compensation should be made directly to MyHab Ltd, via the contact details provided on their website, www.myhab.com."

The UK company have failed to fulfil their obligations at the Glastonbury Festival in the UK today, prompting the concerns.

"It is with regret, that due to recent and unforeseen events Myhab will not be running the campsite this year," said a statement on the MyHab website.

"Glastonbury Festival was made aware of these events on Friday afternoon. Glastonbury made the decision to appoint The Green Tent Company to take over the management of the site to provide the accommodation and facilities that you had previously booked through us, although myhabs will not be present."
