Neil Lennon expects Lassad Nouioui to arrive in Glasgow tonight to complete his move to Celtic.

Reports today claimed that the 26-year old Tunisia forward, who was a free agent after leaving Deportivo La Coruna, was going to Levante.

However, after the 2-2 draw with Hibernian in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League at Parkhead today, the Hoops boss said: “I know there is talk of him going to Levante but I have had clarification from his advisors that he will be in Glasgow this evening.

“We have agreed terms and the paperwork is done so we just need him in to do his medical.

“He will do a couple of days’ fitness work because he obviously hasn’t had a club since the end of the season and we just need to gauge his physical condition and take it from there.

“He is six foot two, he leads the line very well, he can play inside or outside the box and he can head it very well.

“We have liked him for a wee while. I know most of his goals have come in the Second Division in Spain but it is still a good standard and he has played for Deportivo in the last couple of seasons.

“He will bring another dimension to the team.”
