'EastEnders' actor Thomas Law could be "Britain's answer to Justin Bieber".
The 17-year-old star – who plays Peter Beale in the BBC One soap – revealed that aside from his acting he has always loved to sing, and fancies himself as the next teenage pop sensation.
He joked: "If I wasn't an actor I'd be the British Justin Bieber, probably! I'd love to do a bit of singing. My uncle owns a studio, so I've been in there, having fun and mucking about with music.
"It's always been something I've wanted to do, but I love acting in 'EastEnders'."
However, while the young star is confident in terms of his music skills, he admitted he found his first on-screen kiss with Maddie Duggan – who used to play his alter-ego's girlfriend Lauren Branning before being replaced by Jacqueline Jossa earlier this year – a nerve-racking experience.
Thomas explained: "I did get nervous about kissing scenes at first. Before my first one with Maddie, Adam Woodyatt (Ian Beale) was mucking about and telling me they were all going to watch it being filmed on a big screen.
"As I walked past the green room, everyone was shouting, 'Go on, son!'"
