Aer Lingus has been criticised for telling two airlines it will no longer provide ground-handling services for them at Shannon Airport.
Aer Lingus has written to American Transair and North American Airlines advising that it will not be continuing the service at the airport.
Fine Gael's Pat Breen TD has said it is a disgrace that this latest development should happen while negotiations are still on-going with unions. Deputy Breen has said it leaves affected Aer Lingus ground staff "in limbo".
