Sky News Ireland makes six new appointments
Sky News Ireland has announced six new appointments including four newly created positions, bringing the total number of staff based in Ireland to 30.
In the technical department, the two new positions of satellite operations engineer and VT editor have been filled by Dara McDonnell and Joan McKenna respectively.
There are two further new positions in the programme production department. Joining Sky are floor manager Janine Curran and Sarah Kelly, who will be the production assistant.
Mark Lappin joins the channel as producer from ITV West News and Geraldine Lynagh joins as video journalist from 98FM.
