Anyone walking through the Oregon woods might find themselves a little confused when they come across a huge plane hidden among the trees
Bruce Campbell has a retired Boeing 727 parked on his rural property - and if that wasn't odd enough, he lives in the plane as well.
The electrical engineer bought the plane in 1999 for just over €70,000 in 1999 and has spent the last few years renovating it into a modest living space.
The unusual, upcycled home has one working toilet, a futon, a simple kitchen and nine emergency exits. Bruce thinks he has probably spent around €165,000 on the project and he's not finished yet.
Campbell spends six months of the year living on the plane and now spends the other half of the year in Japan, where's he's looking to buy
Boeing 747 to convert into a living space.Wouldn't it be so cool if he could fly the planes as well? He'd be able to fly around the world in his house!
