Bungling burglar ain't no Santa

Santa doesn't have to worry about losing his job to one would-be American burglar, who was caught red-handed stuck down a chimney.

The 17-year-old youth tried to break into a house through the entrance, but he got stuck and spent 10 hours lodged inside the chimney before he was eventually freed.

Corporal Jake Smith, spokesman for the Gwinnett County Police Department, explained one neighbour heard him calling for help, so they phoned the police.

The teenager – who was eventually identified as Renaldo Jack - was arrested on one count of burglary and another of providing a false name to the police.
