Car bomb kills two in Iraq

A car bomb targeting a police patrol in Baghdad killed two people and wounded 13 earlier today, police said.

A car bomb targeting a police patrol in Baghdad killed two people and wounded 13 earlier today, police said.

The bomb was detonated in a parked car as the patrol went by in eastern Baghdad at 10.15am local time (6.15am Irish time).

One policeman was among the dead, while five were injured, police Lt. Bilal Ali said.
