Caroline Flack left red-faced in airport
Caroline Flack was strip-searched at an airport.
The 'Xtra Factor' host was given the once over by a security guard after her jewellery-clad underwear set off metal detectors at Marseille Airport, where she was flying back to the UK from after returning from Louis Walsh's Judges Houses in Saint-Tropez, southern France.
A friend told The Sun newspaper: “Caroline had some studding detail on her underwear that set off the alarm. She was a bit embarrassed but saw the funny side.”
The 33-year-old star – who previously dated One Direction hunk Harry Styles - is said to have seen the comical side of the embarrassing incident and then caught the flight with 'Xtra Factor' co-host Matt Richardson and 'X Factor' presenter Dermot O'Leary.
Matt has replaced Olly Murs on the show this year and Caroline recently revealed the 22-year-old newcomer was chosen to front the programme alongside her because he is "completely different" to the 'Troublemaker' hitmaker.
She said: "He was so funny and made us laugh and was completely different from Olly."
