Hollywood star Deborah Kerr is devastated after learning her younger brother Edmund Trimmer was killed in an apparent road-rage attack.
The Scottish From Here To Eternity actress' 78-year-old sibling Trimmer died after being punched in the face during an argument with a motorist on a road in West Heath, Birmingham, on Monday.
Retired journalist Trimmer was rushed to Selly Oak Hospital with a serious head injury, but died several hours later after doctors tried in vain to save him.
On Tuesday, a 55-year-old man from nearby Redditch was charged with murder and is due to appear in court today.
The Oscar-nominated star, 82, lives in Klosters, Switzerland with her husband, Peter Viertel.
