Vodafone Ireland has revealed that their revenue was €245m in their preliminary results for the quarter ended March 31, 2011.
This shows a fall of 6.2% on the same quarter last year.
Vodafone Ireland has 2.2 million customers in the same quarter with their total telecoms base at 2.4 million including the company’s fixed line and DSL business.
The company’s mobile business experienced a 3.2% year-on-year increase in its customer base.
Approximately 54% of bill pay devices sold on the network since December 2010 were smartphones.
The company saw a 30% year-on-year increase in mobile broadband customers, with over 40,000 net additions in the year.
