Limerick will hold a 7.30am inspection on the morning of Sunday’s fixture.

Officials at the track must assess conditions because of the threat of a heavy band of rain on Saturday.

“They have already had quite a bit (of rain) but they will give it every chance,” said Cliff Noone, Irish Turf Club press officer.

“There is some more rain forecast, but the forecast is also for a dry night.”
