The estimated value of art taken from a Zurich museum by armed robbers has risen to around €120.5m, police said today.
The raiders stole four paintings by Cezanne, Degas, van Gogh and Monet.
Officers called the raid a “spectacular art robbery”.
The paintings were taken on Sunday from the E.G. Buehrle Collection, one of Europe’s finest private museums for Impressionist and post-Impressionist art, by three masked men carrying pistols.
