Lily Allen has left BBC bosses struggling to fill their 2009 schedules after pulling out of plans to shoot another series of her talkshow.
The singer was set to film the second series of Lily Allen and Friends next month, despite the original run proving a flop with viewers and critics alike.
But the star has been forced to snub plans for more episodes because she is too busy promoting her second album 'It's Not Me, It's You'.
And the move has left TV executives frantically searching for a replacement show.
BBC Three boss Danny Cohen says: "We've got a gap because we're not doing another Lily Allen show. But I'm hopeful we'll find something else."
Last year, Allen confessed she would only have given her presenting skills "five out of 10", while boasting that she made a huge sum of money from the talkshow.
