Lindsay to spend no more than 30 days in rehab

Lindsay Lohan will not be in rehab for more than a month.

The ‘Mean Girls’ actress – who is currently receiving treatment at the UCLA Medical Center as part of a sentence for breaching the terms of probation – had been rumoured to be leaving the facility yesterday after completing just 17 days of her treatment, but will stay on at the clinic for a longer period of time.

A meeting yesterday between Lindsay’s lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley and the Deputy District Attorney met at the Beverly Hills Courthouse to discuss her ongoing case saw medics recommend that the 24-year-old star spend no more than 30 days at the centre.

Lindsay was initially ordered by Judge Marsha Revel to spend 90 days in prison followed by 90 days in rehab as punishment for violating the terms of her probation from a 2007 driving under the influence conviction.

However, the ‘Freaky Friday’ star served just 13 days of her jail term, transferring to the rehab clinic immediately afterwards.

Upon leaving court, Ms. Holley confirmed Lindsay is doing well in the rehabilitation centre.

She said: “She’s good, but that’s all I am going to say. She’s good.”
