Bohemians 0 Rosenborg 1
Bohemians' groundbreaking progress to the third round of the Champions League hangs by a thread after Norwegians Rosenborg came away from Dalymount with a precious 1-0 win.
Bohs started well and Glen Crowe just failed to connect with a cross from Bobby Ryan on nine minutes.
Crowe was again close 20 minutes later but sliced wide from Simon Webb's low cross before Rosenborg took the lead on 35 minutes.
Bohs boss Stephen Kenny will be furious that his side conceded a goal from a set piece as Azar Karadas was allowed to head home Harald Brattbakk's corner.
Rosenborg created the better scoring chances after the break and Christer George, Frode Johnsen and Brattbakk all came close.
Substitute Fergal Harkin almost levelled for Bohs three minutes from time but his shot flew wide across goal.
Damien Lynch then prevented a second Rosenborg goal when heading Johnsen's effort off the line.
