A low-cost airline that operated from Gatwick Airport to Hong Kong has gone into liquidation, it was announced today.
Oasis Hong Kong Airlines began flights to Gatwick in October 2006, with fares starting as low as £75 (€94).
The news has come amid reports that the airline was struggling under debts of up to one billion Hong Kong dollars (about €80m).
The Hong Kong carrier is at least the fourth airline worldwide to halt operations in less than two weeks amid surging fuel costs.
