British actor Ian McKellen refuses to write his autobiography - because he won't be able to write about his own death.
The 'Lord of the Rings' star believes the book would be incomplete without his death as the final chapter - so he will stick to updating his website instead for more up-to-the-minute news.
McKellen tells British film magazine Empire: "I'll never put my memoirs in print. What's upsetting about an autobiography is that the final chapter is always missing. I mean, you want the death, don't you?
"There's more on that site than there could ever be in a book. Eventually, before I die, I hope to have written about every part I've played."
