Marchers to protest against Mugabe

Supporters of the opposition party in Zimbabwe will stage a demonstration in London today to protest at the restrictions on political activity under Robert Mugabe’s regime.

Supporters of the opposition party in Zimbabwe will stage a demonstration in London today to protest at the restrictions on political activity under Robert Mugabe’s regime.

Supporters of the opposition party, the Movement for Democratic Change (MDC), will gather in Trafalgar Square and march to the nearby Zimbabwe Embassy.

They will join a vigil which has been held outside the embassy every Saturday for more than four years against human rights abuses and in support of free and fair elections in Zimbabwe.
