Peruvian TV show tricks men into cat-calling their own mothers

A Peruvian TV show has attracted a lot of attention after they tricked several men into cat-calling their own mothers.

The clip which has gone viral in the last few days aims to highlight the growing problem of street harassment in Lima. The show says it picked a few men who had reputations for harassing women on the street and got in contact with their mothers.

Their mams were then disguised with wigs, new outfits and make-up and told to walk by their unsuspecting sons on the street. On cue, the men started directing some unwanted, crude comments towards the women walking past them and their reactions when they realise who they really are are something else.

And their mothers are NOT happy with them.

Some questions have been raised over whether the reactions are for real or if maybe actors were used. Either way, it's a lesson to not harass people on the street.

Because you never know who you might be lusting after.
