A Palestinian man inside the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem has been shot by an Israeli soldier.

A Palestinian man inside the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem has been shot by an Israeli soldier.

He has been seriously injured and has been taken to a hospital in Jerusalem.

It comes as Israelis and Palestinians start a second day of negotiations to try to end a three-week siege at the holy site.
