Actress Jane Fonda is keen to dispel rumours she is living the life of a millionairess, insisting she gives a lot of her movie and book paycheques to charity.
The 67-year-old Oscar-winner recently returned to the big screen in romantic comedy Monster-In-Law, and gave 50% of her salary to her favourite cause.
When asked by New York Post journalist Liz Smith, if she was financially secure, Fonda says: "I'm OK, but I work to endow my organisations in Georgia.
"The Campaign for Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention, a statewide idea to help children against sexual abuse, poor parenting, school failure. Half my salary from Monster-In-Law went to that."
