Fine Gael is trying to heal a growing dispute with the country's largest sporting organisation over the political party's sports policy.

Fine Gael is trying to heal a growing dispute with the country's largest sporting organisation over the political party's sports policy.

In its policy Fine Gael is trying to convince the GAA to play other sports at Croke Park, as well as using money for the intended national stadium for sport at local level.

However, GAA President, Sean McCague said that Fine Gael is trying to manipulate the GAA's policy for its own political agenda.

Fine Gael wants to clear up the dispute in the run-up to the General Election.
