There are three more games to be decided today in the All-Ireland qualifying series as Cavan play Derry, Cork meet Galway and Dublin take on Sligo.

The first game of the day is at Croke Park, where the fixture of the day between Cork and Galway kicks-off at 2.15pm.

The beaten Munster finalists take on the 1998 champions after they defeated Armagh in the previous round of the series.

Galway have already played more games than the Leesiders and they hope the extra games will help them overcome the Munster side.

Cork will be looking to bounce back from last weekend's Munster final defeat to Kerry but may find two tough games in just over a week a little too much.

In Clones, Derry and Cavan kick-off at 3.30pm.

Derry, who were dumped from the first round of the Ulster Championship, have beaten Antrim and Laois to make to this game against the beaten Ulster finalists after Cavan lost to Tyrone two weeks ago.

In the other game of the day, Dublin will have home advantage in the second tie to be played at Croke Park when they entertain Sligo at 4pm.

Sligo have been one of the surprise packages of the championship so far, after losing narrowly to Mayo in the Connacht Championship they beat the much-fancied Kildare to set up this showdown with the Dubs.

Dublin will have to quickly bounce back from their Leinster final defeat to Meath and must now win to keep their slim All-Ireland hopes alive.
