Singer Kelly Osbourne has pulled out of tonight’s NME awards because she is terrified of a terrorist attack on Britain.
The 18-year-old star was due to perform at the event and to present an award at next week’s Brits.
But she has decided not to fly to the UK after her father Ozzy and mother Sharon told her they feared for her safety.
Her spokeswoman said: “Kelly’s parents were in New York on September 11 when the Twin Towers came down so you can imagine how they feel.
“The decision wasn’t taken lightly and Kelly has thought long and hard about it.
“She is upset that she can’t come to Britain because she was really looking forward to it.
“But as well as herself and her parents, she also has a whole crew and band to think of and she has decided not to take the risk.”
