The Darkness frontman Justin Hawkins quit the British rockers yesterday, after successfully undergoing rehab for drink and drug problems.

The 'I believe in a thing called love' star has been clean of cocaine and alcohol for nine weeks, and feels he just can't live the rock 'n' roll lifestyle any more.

Hawkins' former bandmates - including his guitarist brother Dan - plan to continue without him, despite poor sales of second album 'One way ticket to hell and back'.

He says: "I feel bad for the others, but I can't do it any more."
