Sparrow includes seven of All-Ireland winning side

Clare Senior hurling manager Ger 'Sparrow' O'Loughlin has named a youthful starting line-up for this Sunday's Allianz NHL Division 2 final against Wexford, with seven of last year's All-Ireland winning under 21 side in the starting line-up.

Clare Senior hurling manager Ger 'Sparrow' O'Loughlin has named a youthful starting line-up for this Sunday's Allianz NHL Division 2 final against Wexford, with seven of last year's All-Ireland winning under 21 side in the starting line-up.

Defenders Cian Dillon and Domhnall O'Donovan; midfielder Nicky O'Connell and forwards Sean Collins, John Conlon, Darach Honan and Colin Ryan; all will be hoping that their experience of bringing a first ever Under 21 title to Clare last September will count in the Semple Stadium Showdown.

O'Loughlin has made a total of six changes in personnel from the team which beat Kildare by 10 points last time out.

Tulla clubman Philip Brennan replaces Donal Tuohy between the posts.

Meanwhile Crusheen's Cian Dillon replaces Conor Cooney at full-back.

Elsewhere in defence there are a number of positional switches in the half-back line with Gerry Quinn out abd Brendan Bugler in to the side.

Bugler comes in at right-half-back, with James McInerney moving to the centre.

At midfield, Clonlara's Nicky O'Connell replaces Cormac O'Donovan.

In attack Fergal Lynch loses out in half-forward line with Sean Collins coming in on the right wing.

Meanwhile Darach Honan returns from injury to replace Barry Nugent at full-forward.
