Kate Winslet voted best mum
Titanic star Kate Winslet has been named best celebrity mum in a poll of mothers.
The actress landed 43% of the votes in a survey for Prima Baby magazine, with women impressed by her commitment to her family. She recently called her baby her ‘‘most successful production’’.
Musician and businessman Bob Geldof was a surprise choice for voters who dubbed him an honorary mum and gave him 4% of the vote.
His inclusion was due to his caring attitude towards his three daughters and kindness towards former wife Paula Yates’s daughter Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily.
Harry Potter author JK Rowling was runner-up in the poll with 24% because of the positive example she has set for single mums.
