Choosing Lorraine Chase inspired, says Sheree
The selection of Lorraine Chase as Tricia's mum in Emmerdale was inspired casting according to Sheree Murphy, who plays Tricia.
"We used to play a little game on Emmerdale, where we had to decide who would be the most appropriate person to play our character's mum or dad," says Sheree.
"I always used to say Lorraine because she sounds like I do and looks a bit like me too. And, lo and behold, out of all the actresses they might have chosen, they went for her! I was so pleased!"
