Michael Cheika's Leinster will make their first appearance in the Magner's League away to Edinburgh at Murrayfield on Friday evening.

It is a much changed squad with Wallabys Chris Whitaker and Owen Finegan, South African Harry Vermaas, ex-Munster forwards Stephen Keogh and Trevor Hogan, Michael Berne.

Ireland Under-21 loose forward and former Blackrock College schoolboy Luke Fitzgerald all in line for their competitive debuts.

Puma Felipe Contepomi is joined by the experienced England international Will Green, Christian Warner, Reggie Corrigan and Guy Easterby in a squad that looks well-equipped to challenge for honours, even in the absence of some of their more renowned Ireland internationals.
