Fulham’s Republic of Ireland international Steve Finnan is expected to make his comeback from injury in the Cottagers’ first ever UEFA Cup match, against Hajduk Split in Croatia tomorrow night.

The right-back’s knee problem kept him out of Saturday’s 3-0 demolition of Sunderland – but he is now fit again and in line to replace Abdeslam Ouaddou in the starting line-up.

Cameroon defender Pierre Wome is also back after his horror tackle with Chris Perry in last Wednesday’s 3-2 victory against Tottenham.

Winger Luis Boa Morte is struggling with a knee problem – and forward Louis Saha is sidelined with a hamstring injury.

Provisional squad: Van der Sar, Finnan, Ouaddou, Brevett, Melville, Goma, Collins, Davis, Inamoto, Malbranque, Legwinski, Marlet, Sava, Herrera, Knight, Wome.
