Limerick Show last Sunday featured the Festival of Irish Breeding presented by the Traditional Irish Horse Association, in which the famous Limerick Lady Championship was won by Tom Newell’s Kilcahill Gemini, by Financial Reward out of Kilcahill Diamond.

Limerick Show last Sunday featured the Festival of Irish Breeding presented by the Traditional Irish Horse Association, in which the famous Limerick Lady Championship was won by Tom Newell’s Kilcahill Gemini, by Financial Reward out of Kilcahill Diamond.

John Roche, Assagart, Co Wexford showed the Festival of Irish Breeding’s Limerick Matron winner, Assagart Mistress.

The David Fitzgerald Cup went to Wexford also, for Ballykelly Eva, the Champion Young Horse of the Show, shown by Margaret Jeffares.

  • Holstein Friesian Junior: D & L Storan & Daniel Curtin.
  • Holstein Friesian Senior Champion: Brian O’Connor.
  • All Ireland Dairy Dry Cow: Joe Boyce.
  • Intrebreed Pair Of Animals; pedigree or non-pedigree: Noel and Lisa Dowd.
  • Pedigree Beef Interbreed Calves: Owen Hester and Richard Hackett.
